Steven E. Hodes, MD Dr. Steven E. Hodes discusses the relationship between science and spirituality throughout history. A board-certified gastroenterologist, Dr. Hodes has long pondered questions about near-death experiences, reincarnation, after-death communication and Kabbalah. Dr. Hodes has a degree in religious studies and teaches contemporary metaphysics at Brookdale College.
