Hal Vaughan A former American diplomat describes how a handful of Ivy League gentlemen became America’s first World War II spies. Hal Vaughan tells the behind-the-scenes story of the plan to invade North Africa with the help of an ex-jewel salesman and wine merchant, an anthropologist, a Parisian playboy and a number of World War I heroes.
