Tiffany Shlain, Ken Goldberg, Gil Gershoni and Vanessa Hidary See the Sundance and Tribeca Film festival hit The Tribe: The Unorthodox, Unauthorized History of the Barbie Doll and the Jewish People, then enjoy a discussion with director and co-writer Tiffany Shlain, co-writer Ken Goldberg, art director Gil Gershoni and a spoken-word performance by Vanessa Hidary.
Honored as one of the “Women Shaping the 21st Century” by Newsweek, Tiffany Shlain is a filmmaker and speaker, the director of The Moxie Institute and a founder of the Webby Awards.
Ken Goldberg is an artist and professor of robotics at the University of California, Berkeley, where he founded the Art, Technology and Culture Colloquium.
Gil Gershoni is the founder and creative director of Gershoni, a San Francisco communication design agency.
Vanessa Hidary is a New York-based actress, poet, and playwright who has appeared on HBO’s Russell Simmons Presents Def Poetry.
