Argentine Julia Solomonoff's excellent directorial debut deals with her country's tumultuous past. It tells the story of two sisters separated in 1975—a year before the military dictatorship took control of Argentina—who are reunited in 1984, a year after the regime was toppled. When Natalia comes to visit Elena, who now lives in Austin, Texas, they eventually delve into the past and confront their own and each other's secrets. Spanish with English subtitles.
