Sun 21 Jan, 9 am. Charna will be leading an 11+ mile strenuous hike starting at Amicolola State Park. Have to come prepared to hike. Bonnie will be leading a more moderate 10-mile hike for those wishing to visit the inn, up and back on the Len Foote trail. You, too, should come prepared to hike. Whatever group you're in, we'll hike to the inn (http://hike-inn.), meet up, and eat our lunch in their dining room. If it's a cold day we can have a warm beverage. We will take in the views and then follow the trail back to the park. Strenuous with Charna or moderate with Bonnie Hiking boots are required. Plenty of water,Dress in layers for winter hiking. Bring your lunch and snacks. No food available to buy at the Inn, but you can refill your water.l 4 directions. Sun 28 Jan, 10:15 am. Did you miss our annual Christmas day hike because of rain? Most of you did but 15 of us did not. We hiked in the rain anyway and had a wonderful time. For those of you who were planning on being there and for those of you who were not…. are putting the hike back on the calendar. Join us for easy 3.5 mile, in town, easy hike. Bring yourself, bring your family, and bring your dog. After the hike, those that want to get lunch can do so from there. New location call for details. that is appropriate for the weather. Hiking boots are always best for any trail. Bring water and a snack if want one. Dogs are welcome but they must be on a leash. You may be fined if the dog is off leash.
