A Unique View Inside a Soldier's Mind The 2006 Israel-Lebanon conflict, known in Israel as the Second Lebanon War, was a military conflict in Lebanon and northern Israel, primarily between Hezbollah paramilitary forces and the Israeli military. It started on July 12, 2006, and continued until a United Nations-brokered ceasefire went into effect on August 14, 2006, though it formally ended on September 8, 2006, when Israel lifted their naval blockade of Lebanon. 698 Beech Street, Manchester, 03104. Sat 10 Feb, 7:30 pm. The Federation stage will feature two performances of "Same Time, Next Year" being produced by the Manchester Community Theatre Players on February 10th and 11th. Same Time, Next Year is a play by Bernard Slade which tells the story of a couple, married to others, who develop a relationship in which they meet each year at a country inn and spend a weekend together. The relationship evolves into emotional intimacy over the course of 25 years, and they become much more than clandestine lovers. Though they only meet once a year, they become important parts of one another's lives. This production stars Linda Aramento and Brett Mallard. 698 Beech Street, Manchester, 03104.
