Hear readings from Daniel Mendelsohn’s memoir of his family, The Lost: A Search for Six of Six Million; Shira Nayman’s haunting story collection Awake in the Dark, about children of Holocaust victims and perpetrators; and Bernice Eisenstein’s graphic memoir I Was a Child of Holocaust Survivors, a humorous and affecting account of her relationship to her parents and to their past.
