The Media and Israel: Finding Common Ground

Gary Kenzer, National USA Executive Director, Honest Reporting According to Mark Twain, "If you don't read the newspaper, you are uninformed; if you do read the newspaper, you are misinformed." Honest Reporting is an organization formed by a small group of British university students in 2001 in response to the anti- Israel bias demonstrated by the European media in their coverage of the Intifada. Gary Kenzer will teach participants to read between the lines and understand what the media says or does not say and its impact on the public policy of Israel in this country.
