Alice Cooney Frelinghuysen A curator from the Metropolitan Museum of Art discusses the treasures once housed at Laurelton Hall, Louis Comfort Tiffany’s extraordinary country estate in Oyster Bay, Long Island. Tiffany designed every aspect of the 84-room home, a quasi-museum for his collections and his own windows, glassware, pottery, enamels, lamps, oil paintings and watercolors. Alice Cooney Frelinghuysen wrote, with other notable contributors, Louis Comfort Tiffany and Laurelton Hall: An Artist’s Country Estate to accompany the spring exhibit at the Met.
