Janet Fishman and Bob Propp will lead an easy walk on Venice Pier to do night photography, and if there is overcast, we will walk to some of the Venice Canals to photograph around the canals. What to bring: Photography equipment (camera, memory cards, tripod, lenses, film, batteries), one to two liters of water, (possible eating afterwards in a local restaurant), good hiking shoes/boots, daypack. Sun 17 Jun, 9:45 am. Easy overall with the first 20 minutes being a bit hard An easy hike of about 3.5 miles round trip. We will climb the ridge parallel to the canyon and go down to the waterfall, returning via the canyon trail. Can look up information online about canyon What to bring One to two liters of water, lunch (or you can join us for lunch in a local restaurant after the hike), snacks, hat, sunglasses, sunscreen, hiking boots or shoes with good traction, daypack.
