Robert N. Robert N. Butler, MD, is the president and CEO of the International Longevity Center-USA, the founding director of the National Institutes of Health's National Institute on Aging and a Pulitzer Prize-winning author. He is a professor and the founder of the Department of Geriatrics and Adult Development at the Mount Sinai Medical Center, the first department of geriatrics at an American medical school.
