This film offers a thoughtful, humorous and poignant look at five Filipinos of indeterminate gender—refugees from families that rejected them—who care for elderly Orthodox Jews and have become almost substitute children to them. The five live in Tel Aviv and spend time onstage as the drag ensemble Paper Dolls. A multiple-prize winner at the 2006 Berlin International Film Festival.
