Includes 3 nights lodging at luxury condominiums plus all food Early Bird: $245 postmarked by Friday, February 2, 2007, $275 thereafter (non-profit to JOA). Description This 4-day trip includes lodging at a luxury condominium complex equipped with full kitchens, fireplaces, and Jacuzzis, 3 breakfasts, sandwich lunches, and a catered Shabbat dinner. All the food is Kosher and we can accommodate special diets. We will leave Los Angeles on Thursday March 15 at various times coordinated by carpoolers, arriving at Mammoth Lakes Thursday evening. We will have 3 full days of activities (mainly skiing and snowshoeing) and return on Sunday afternoon/evening with our carpools. Mammoth Mountain is a world-renowned ski resort and the largest in Southern and Central California. Right next door is the beautiful Tamarack Cross-country meadow offering a variety of cross-country and snowshoeing trails. Mammoth Lakes is a popular resort town surrounded by snow-capped mountains, numerous lakes and recreation facilities. There are many restaurants and bars in this quaint mountain town and the drive up is neither steep nor winding.
Cost
Price for the full weekend is $245 per person postmarked by February 2, 2007, $275 thereafter (not for profit JOA). Price includes accommodations and meals. Breakfasts and lunches are self-prepared. The condos include TVs, VCRs, microwaves, ovens, dishwashers and refrigerators. Close by you can find video rental stores, shops and bars.
Transportation
Transportation will be via car pool. List of participants will be shared with everyone so you can coordinate carpooling. In consideration of those people who are willing to use their cars, we ask that you give the driver $30 if there are 4 people in your car, $40 if there are 3 people, and $60 if there are 2 people in your car, to help pay for gas.
Accommodations
There will be about six people in each condo, two people to a bedroom and 2 to 4 in a loft. The bedrooms come with one Queen or King sized bed that will be shared by 2 women or a couple. Single men will be placed in the loft beds. The units come with 2 bathrooms.

During ski season, the condos at Mammoth fill up fast. Please sign up early to ensure a place for yourself. Though there are no refunds, we do offer the option of switching you with someone else if you find someone to take your place.
Liability Release
Please be advised that Jewish Outdoor Adventures (JOA) is a Not-For-Profit organization. It operates without a budget and it has no profits. It does not carry any insurance. All funds collected are used for the benefit of participants. Any surpluses are used for future programs. You participate in this, or any other JOA activity, at your own risk. A liability release form must be signed once before participating in a JOA activity. If you have not signed one before, please ask for it and it will be emailed or faxed to you. You will need to sign it and return with your payment.
