Shabbat Spelling Bee for 20s and 30s

Fri 27 Apr. Steinhardt Building, 35 West 67th Street, New York, 10023. Gregor Ehrlich, 212-601-1000, gehrlich@92ndsty.org. Makor - [events]

That’s right, a Jewish spelling bee. If you thought our other spelling bee was tough, try your hand at words like knaidel, gematrial and hechsher, in the warm and comfortable setting of one of our traditional Makor Shabbat Dinners.

Shabbat dinner at Makor, for people in their 20s and 30s, is a feast for the body and spirit. Partake of a gourmet meal accompanied by prayers and lively melodies and converse with interesting people. The dinner also includes a short, stimulating talk given from a variety of Jewish perspectives. Registration required by the Wednesday before the dinner. Vegetarian dinners optional with phone reservations.

Special Offer: 2 tickets for $50. Order below.
