What: Parents want their children to grow up with good values and strong character--and we know that the primary way children learn this is by watching us. Become more aware of how you are handling emotions and expressing your beliefs.
Our discussion will be guided by the teachings of Musar, traditional Jewish literature focused on exploring and improving one’s character. Led by Rabbi Yohanna Kinberg of Temple B’nai Torah, with Marjorie Schnyder of JFS. This class starts a four part series, with additional sessions in December and the spring focusing on the midot of Presence, Truthfulness and Compassion. This class is suitable for parents of children up to 12 years old. A limited amount of child care may be available with advance request.
