Sun 12 Jul, 11 am-2 pm. Temple B’nai Israel, Laconia Everybody, everybody is going to the Jewish Food Festival. People gather in the Temple driveway well before opening. They come from all over the state, they stream out of churches, bring their house guests and their neighbors. They come for the legendary blintzes, kugels, latkes, brisket and tongue sandwiches, stuffed cabbage, matzo ball soup, chopped liver, herring salad, strudel, cheesecake, rugulach. When they can’t eat anymore, they order “take out”, packaged to be taken home for the next food gorge. They browse at the “Nearly New Boutique” and buy raffle tickets for prizes worth winning…gift certificates to great eateries and activities. Don’t be late. There are never any leftovers. 698 Beech Street, Manchester, 03104. Adam Solender, Executive Director, 603-627-7679, office@jewishnh.rog. Jewish Federation of New Hampshire - [events]
