When: June 08, 2010 | 08:00 PM to 09:30 PM Where: Leventhal-Sidman JCC, 333 Nahanton St., Newtonville, MA 02459 Presented by: Jewish Community Centers of Greater Boston Cost: $160.00 Join in playing klezmer music, a centuries-old Jewish folk art from Eastern Europe, at an ongoing Joy of Klezmer class at the Leventhal-Sidman JCC in Newton. Almost any instrument (strings, winds, piano) can be worked into this ensemble. Class includes instruction and historical background. Occasional performances. High school students welcome. Joy of Klezmer takes place on Tuesdays from 8-9:30pm. Cost is $160 for seven weeks. Open to the entire community. This is an ongoing class that can be joined at any time. Register online at
