Wed 18 Nov, 7-9 pm. The Birmingham Holocaust Education Committee is sponsoring a Community Event featuring Alexandra Zapruder. Ms. Zapruder is the author of 'Salvaged Pages, Young People Diaries of the Holocaust', and the subsequent DVD, "I'm Still Here" made from stories in the book. Ms. Zapruder will be touring the state, making presentations in Monroeville, Montgomery and possibly Huntsville in addition to Birmingham. The morning following, Mz Zapruder will conduct a Teacher's Workshop at Temple Emanu-El also. Ann Mollengarden is Project Director of the Tour for the State.
