Written by British playwright David Hare, “Amy’s View” takes place in Berkshire and London, England. David Hare is also the author of “The Vertical Hour,” the screenplay for “The Reader,” and “Plenty.” Over the course of sixteen years, the characters in “Amy’s View” engage in a running debate about the respective virtues of the stage versus those of the media arts. Through the author’s ideas and concerns about the nature of love, betrayal, and personal and artistic integrity, his extraordinary characters struggle to a profound conclusion.
