Newbury Community Room, intersections of Rts. 103 and 103A Everyone is invited to the summer meeting of the Sunapee-Kearsarge Jewish Community, where they will host an exhibition of the key works of Alan Zola Shulman. Portraits of Zinkov are the artist's recreation of the people of this Ukrainian shtetl. Photographs that appeared in the Zinkover Memorial Book published in 1966 modeled the portraits. The artist, whose grandparents lived in that community, has undertaken this effort to memorialize the people of Zinkov and through them all of the lost shtetls of Europe.
