Mandel Humanities Center Reading Room Michael Klein reads from his new collection "then, we were still living" of which Nick Flynn wrote, "In these roughly whispered poems, Klein somehow—miraculously—manages to evoke a past of empty suitcases, of ghosts, while being fully present in the moment, in the now." Klein is the author of two memoirs, "Track Conditions"about himself and the 1984 Kentucky Derby winner, and "The End of Being Known," linked essays about sex and friendship.
