Prime Minister Sharon is scheduled to speak at the AIPAC Conference at the Washington Convention Center on Tuesday morning between 9:30-11 AM. (Hillary Clinton is the other speaker.) We must be there in our Orange clothing, with sleeping bags and tents, with each participant providing his own equipment, indicating the homelessness of the Jews being expelled from their homes. We will provide signs. All media should be alerted. Bring your family and friends. Our message to him is "Let Our People Stay in All The Land of Israel". The Coalition of Americans to Save Gush Katif/Gaza and the N. Shomron Communities is going to Washington to save the homes of 10,000 Jews and to protest the Sharon expulsion plans and the victory for terror.

We must be there in our ORANGE clothing, with sleeping bags and tents, with each participant providing his own equipment, indicating the homelessness of the Jews being expelled from their homes. Those traveling in the chartered bus should be prepared to leave DC at 3:30 PM from a pre-determined location, returning to New York at approximately 7:30 P.M.

MONDAY, MAY 23 – We will meet at the cafeteria at 1pm in the Longworth House Office Building (Independence & New Jersey Ave., SE) on Capitol Hill where packets of information will be distributed. The plan is to visit Congressional offices in the House and Senate to distribute information explaining the dire world-wide consequences of removing the Jewish community from their homes in Gush Katif and Samaria. Plans should be made to stay overnight so that we can form a protest group on Tuesday AM. We have a limited number of rooms reserved in a nearby hotel for about $90 a room. Please call us ASAP (1-800-235-3658 to speak to Helen or Sima) to make your reservation for the bus and/or hotel. Again, ORANGE bags and clothing are suggested to demonstrate solidarity. Shirts will be available for purchase at $10.
Coming from New York City - We have arranged for a bus to Washington, DC from NYC at the nominal cost of $50 per person round trip. The bus will be leaving from Manhattan, 8th Ave. between 32nd and 33rd Streets. (in front of the Main Post Office) - at 9AM on Monday morning. People are urged to book their travel with us by bus as early as possible.
Those who wish, of course, may travel to Washington, DC by car- pool, train, or plane in order to arrive by 1 P.M.

SUNDAY, MAY 22, 1 P.M., at Baruch College, 17 Lexington Avenue & 23 Street in New York city – Prime Minister Sharon will be the guest of the Conference of Presidents, Federation and the Israeli Consulate.
The Coalition of Americans to Save Gush Katif/Gaza and the N. Shomron Communities is holding a Prayer Vigil in the same location to save the 10,000 Jews of Gush Katif/Gaza and the Shomron and to protest the Sharon expulsion plans and the victory for terror. Participants are urged to wear ORANGE clothing, the color of solidarity with Gush Katif/Gaza. For those who wish to purchase shirts, they will be available for sale for $10. Prominent speakers include: Rabbi Steven Pruzansky, Rabbi Heshy Reichman, Rabbi Moshe Tendler, Rabbi Neil Winkler, Helen Freedman/AFSI; Assemblyman Dov Hikind, and Morton A. Klein/ZOA.
