templeadathy@comcast.net or 669-5650. Mark Popovsky is a Conservative Rabbi, Certified Chaplain and son of TAY members Alvin and Jeanette Popovsky. He has published articles on emerging topics in the fields of pastoral care and medical ethics in several leading professional and academic journals. Rabbi Mark Popovsky is the author of Jewish Ritual, Reality and Response at the End of Life (Duke, 2007), A guide to clinicians caring for Jewish patients who are dying. Currently, he is attending the Columbia School of Law and exploring the overlap between rabbinic and legal approaches to modern ethical issues.
