This year’s featured speaker is Joanne Caras, author of “The Survivor’s Cookbook”, which pairs family recipes of Holocaust survivors with their tales of survival. Ms. Caras decided to write the book after visiting a soup kitchen in Jerusalem. Her personal journey to create this book is an uplifting tale of family and tzedakah. “The Survivor’s Cookbook” will be available for purchase in advance of the event; Ms. Caras will sign books that evening.
