Alex Safian, associate director of the Committee for Accuracy in Middle East Reporting in America (Camera), will speak on "Flotilla of Lies: The Global Assault on Israel." His lecture and accompanying videos will begin at 8 p.m. in S. Joseph Solomont Synagogue, Saval Campus, 34 Philbrick Road, Brookline.

Dr. Safian, who has been on the staff of CAMERA for more than a dozen years, will address not only the distortions that have characterized coverage of Israel's naval blockade enforcement (and the Gaza blockade generally), but also the broader strategic issues that are developing, including diplomatic and military implications.
