We will look at the Jewish prayerbook as a document of Jewish history and philosophy and belief. Please bring the prayerbook of your choice. Knowledge of Hebrew not required. Rabbi Simcha Green is the new Rabbi at Young Israel, having recently moved here with his wife Marjorie from Maine. Rabbi Green has been in the rabbinate for 40 years and has been involved in Adult Education as Director of the JCC in Philadelphia, as well as youth programming and outreach to intermarried families.
