Join us for a special evening of film, art, food and wine tasting, and a special musical presentation. Monet's Palate explores the connection between great artists and great chefs as seen through the world of Claude Monet. Filmed in Giverny, France, the film includes interviews with Steve Wynn, Alice Waters, Daniel Boulud, Roger Verge, Michel Richard and others. Narration by Meryl Streep. Post-screening discussion with Aileen Bordman, creator and producer of Monet's Palate; Terrance Brennan, chef/owner of Picholine; Charles S. Moffet, vice chairman, Impressionist, Modern and Contemporary Art at Sotheby's; and former senior curator of the art exhibition "Monet's Years at Giverny" at the Metropolitan Museum of Art; Michel Nischan, owner of The Dressing Room and author of Homegrown: Pure and Simple. Moderated by food and wine consultant Eric Weiss. Musical presentation by violinist Jennifer Choi.
