Is There An Envelope Left? Racism, sexism, homophobia, anti-Semitism—these are the stock-in-trade of the young comedian finding his or her "edge." But is there, or should there be, a limit? Have certain comedians—Sarah Silverman, Sacha Baron Cohen, Larry David—gone too far? Hear comedians and writers reflect on the state of their art.

Comedian and storyteller Jonathan Ames is the author of several novels, most recently, the essay collection I Love You More than You Know. Rob Kutner is a writer for The Daily Show with Jon Stewart. Catie Lazarus has received awards as Best Comedy Writer (Emerging Comics of New York), New York's Funniest Reporter (The Laugh Factory) and Funniest New Yorker (Stand-Up New York).

This event is held in memory of J.J. Greenberg, one of Makor's founders, and is endowed by the J.J. Greenberg Memorial Foundation.
